RGH reflashing NAND

Hi guys, i would like to re-flash my NAND because id' like to solve a problem i have with my Slim and two phats of my friends. The error i get is "Fatal Error Intercepted", which prevents the game from booting and kicks be back to NXE. On the internet i read that i could solve this by reflashing the NAND, so my question is:
Do i have to format? How? Or i just overwrite?

In some cases you do have to erase the nand and flash it back. Now to do that you would use the -e flag for nandpro fallowed by block size and all that
