Ahh i need help please, ive been looking through tutorials after tutorials and i still cant find one on how to reflash the chip using a disc. Can someone teach me how to burn an xbox bios into a disc and using it to reflash my chip. I have x3 bios 1953 flashed currently on my chip, and i want to reflash my chip to 2914, ive already obtained the bios. Also, if i take the X3 live that always starts up wen i start up the xbox how can i get back to it again? Thank you.

I'll be nicer and tell you the simpliest way to update your bios. Do the ftp flash style !!! Since you already have xecuter bios installed and as long as you have set your xbox up for ftp, you are set. Here is how to do it:

Suppose you got 1953 in banks 1234, then I would flash 1914 into banks 5678 just in case you want to get back to the older bios. To ftp flash, disable flash protect. Get on X3 config live. Use ftp client on your PC to connect to your xbox (remember pw & username are "x3" without the quotes). Go to admin/bios banks/1024k banks/. Transfer your appropriate bios into bank 1+2+3+4 or bank 5+6+7+8 (if 1953 is in 1234 then put bios 1n 5678 folder). Your xbox should start the flash process. Of course when it's done, you want to set your switches to appropriate settings to boot to new bios.

Simple, no dvd or cd's to waste

Of course when it's done, you want to set your switches to appropriate settings to boot to new bios.
If you want to make it even simpler, you can just set which bank you want to boot from in Config Live. No need for settting any switches.
