Reflashing X3 Bios 1959 to 2913???

Hey my chip is flashed with the x3 1959 bios but now i have obtained the 2913 bios and i want to know how to flash it to the chip? also if i add a larger 200 gb hdd to my xbox must i back up everything in it? or can i simply just install it with Slayers AutoEvox 2.6 Final, because that has everything installed and stuff and i used it for the OEM hdd for xbox.

easiest for you is to do ftp flash. I would keep the 1959 for now and flash 2913 into the other 1mb bank. Suppose you got 1959 in banks 1234, then I would flash 1913 into banks 5678 just in case new bios is too buggy for you and you want to get back to the more stable bios. To ftp flash, disable flash protect. Get on X3 config live. Use ftp client on your PC to connect to your xbox (remember pw & username are "x3" without the quotes). Go to admin/bios banks/1024k banks/. Transfer your appropriate bios into bank 1+2+3+4 or bank 5+6+7+8 (if 1959 is in 1234 then put bios 1n 5678 folder). Your xbox should start the flash process. Of course when it's done, you want to set your switches to appropriate settings to boot to new bios.

It's always a good idea to back up just in case you want your saved data etc.

oh alright cool nartac, btw do u have a good site tutorial where it teaches u how to connect via ftp, because for a reason they just dont work for me, im a total noob lol. Also are u saying that 2913 isnt stable?

LOL. You got bios v1959 so I assume you already know how to setup ftp. So much for my assumption, LOL. Ftp setup is pretty simple imho, pm me and I can go over step by step with you via email. PM me exactly what hardware you got etc. ie router, PC, if have router is dhcp enabled or disabled, whatever and also your email where I can reach you at.

2913 is stable to me and I haven't run into any issues but there are some confirmed bugs which were announce on teamxecuter's website.
