ANSWERED regular xbox 360 problem

I bought a xbox 360 regular from someone. its on dashboard 2.0.16547 (latest dash). i can log into xbox live safely. the only problem i'm having is that it doesn't play the xbox 360 games ONLY dvds. can anyone suggest what the problem is? when i put in the xox 360 game is says ply dvd but doesnt play.

Either the laser is dead (unlikely, but possible) or the drive key is wrong.

If the drive key is wrong and the console hasn't got a Xenon motherboard, you can use RGH2 or R-JTAG to recover the drive key.

The drive must also be the correct drive for the console.

You can use RGH2 or R-JTAG to boot XeLL on the console (it might be easier and cheaper to pay someone to recover the drive key for you).

Once you have the console's CPU key, you can decrypt the console's NAND with it and get the drive OSIG and drive key.

Once you know these details, you can flash the correct type of drive with the correct drive key.

i guess i will need NEW tools to do that because at the moment i only have a dgx 1.0.s, nandx, x360 pro, and ck3 mini. i know how to rgh so i just need to know exactly what tools i need

If wrong drive for console no need for probe.maybe look for signs of console being opened before.then maybe see if u can get jf to detect the drive and see what's what

can my dgx work on teh regular old xboxes with dash 2.0.16547?
secondly bl4k3y wat if i teh xbox has xenon motherboard can i still rgh it?

no DGX is for slims only

get yourself a coolrunner rev C and use RGH2 hack

if its a xenon (if it has no HDMI its a xenon) you may be able to glitch it with RGH2 but its not stable and may take a while. grab OSIG fix drive and return to stock.

ok at the moment a benq lite on drive is in the xbox. once i rgh it and get teh key. lets say the ORIGINAL drive was a samsung. i cna still spoof the samsung dvd key on the philips lite on drive once i get in jungleflasher?

There is no RGH2 for Xenon consoles.

To be honest, I don't know why you are wasting your time on a Xenon console when you can pick up a Jasper console cheap these days (Jasper motherboards are much more reliable and they have a very low failure rate).
