Hi,

I like to keep my switch up to date with the killer SX OS software. You guys do an excellent job!

I find that every time I update the SX OS's boot.dat on my microSD card, all of my NSP installs are gone from the main menu. Am I missing something when I install my NSP's? Or is it not possible to keep the games installed between versions? Just curious and thanks in advance!

how are you updating the boot.dat on your microSD? Card reader to computer, ftp via SX OS or update sx os feature in sx os?

the only time my nsp installs have gone away was when I ejected the microSD card while the switch was still on on accident and it messed that stuff up. Every time there is an SX OS update, I use their update feature in the “Album App” and I have never had an issue updating that way.

Ah okay, I'll try updating it via the app next time. I was powering off my switch, inserting the card in my PC and overwriting the boot.dat.

Thanks for the tip, I'll let you know how it goes for the next update.

No problem. the process you just describe should work with no issues. But yeah, give the update feature a try next time and see if that works for you.

Oh, I was wondering, after I install an NSP successfully, can I delete it from my sdcard, or must it stay put?

after you install the NSP, you can delete the installer after. I remove the installer to free up space.

6.0 OFW to 6.2 best route?

If I my OFW is 6.0 and I only used it 1x with SX PRO. Its currently not banned. What is best way for me to update OFW to 6.2 ? Should I also leave it in airplane mode for normal use? Is it best to use setup emunand 6.2 and just play all games from there? If I update to 6.2 from the online servers will I have to redo my Exfat SD card after this process?

Thanks in advance
