Queued update?

I'm on SX Pro with SX OS 2.0.1. AutoRCM is off. sysNAND is at 4.1.0. emuNAND is at 5.1.0. Stealth Mode is ON.

I tried to update Diablo via an offline update nsp, using SX OS install menu. It went through the .nsa installs etc... When I tried to launch the game it said it needed to do a "Software update", or maybe it was "system update" - i'm not sure, but I said "NO" and removed the game via Remove Software. Then mounted the original XCI and can play the v1 of the game. I went through the same with NBA 2k19 and refused to install any updates and deleted / remounted original) I've tried multiple reboots since, OFW and CFS are still at their normal versions (4.1.0 and 5.1.0).

Question:

1. Did I queue anything up by doing these updates, even though I refused to "update software"?
2. Should I use maintenance mode to clear anything, or will that interfere with SXOS/Emunand etc?

Thanks in advance!

Depending on how new the Diablo update is, it may actually be talking about the System firmware needs to be updated. I believe a lot of the newer game updates are requiring the newest firmware. Some people say that if you boot into the Nintendo recovery menu and then just reboot it will clear any pending updates. I would back everything up before trying that or you can also try deleting the Diablo game, backing up you save data first of course, then reinstalling and not installing the newest update, but maybe the previous one.

thanks. is booting into maintenance mode allowed if i'm using emunand? will it break anything in that regard?
