1. I couldnt get my X3 to enable, so I first checked my DO connection. Like an IDIOT I gave it a slight tug and popped the solder point off. So I then got the on off on off on frag. I got a rat shack pen and tape and repaired the trace. Now it turns on and stays on but then it frags and says call for service. Is my repaired trace the problem. No codes are given on the screen.

2. Also can you solder to the repaired trace with rat shacks trace repair pen cuz I just left the mod chip out trying to fix the frag problem.

3. This is also a different motherboard but was supposed to have come with the matching HD.

No you cannot solder to the silver "ink" onside those conductivity pens, I have tried it just melts away... what I had to do was take a very thin wire and stick it through the top side D0 and then tape it down real good, then I soldered the D0 wire to that, and it works perfect.

Why the power supply ? It had a 1.1 board then I replaced it with a 1.0 board. I thought everything was interchangable on these two boards.
