Not really a noob, but out of the game for a while. Previously had an Arcade running LT on an ms25 spoofed to 28, not sure what version right off hand. Counsel crapped out with red rigs. I recently acquired a 250gig Elite wit a LiteOn 93450c and Dash 17489. I would like to extract the key and flash it to and use the ms25 drive. What is the best route to get the key. I am not new to modding electronics, played with satellite tv for years, building my own card readers, JTAGs, digilocks, etc... This box does not go on live for games, just for netflix. Would the ms25 drive still be a target for a ban if it isn't used for Live gaming?

theres no more spoofing drives , if its the org drive , just unlock it with usb flasher , if not I would rgh get the drive info and dvd key and put the correct drive back in it,

Thanks John. I was under the impression the Litons with the current stock firmware were unlockable. Does PMT or MRA still work with current firmware?

PMT still works on current FW 0251.Not sure about MRA, but probably yes.Liteon phat are not locked.You can use the sammy drive with manual spoofing, but XGD3 games will not work.You'r xbox is always a ban target when using a modified/spoofed FW on live.Best option is to use liteon.
Thanks guys. Finally got the probe to work and have the key. Getting ready to update box to current now. Am I correct in the understanding that I wont need to probe to flash?
