hey i read a couple posts on the interwebs looking how to fix my Samsung drive but couldn't find out what to do to get my xgd3 games read but a couple days ago i ran into a thread somewhere saying that you can replace the samsung drive with a benQ by putting the key from the samsung into a BenQ and its supposed to be online safe cause when Microsoft did repairs to some of the older consoles and sent them back with new drives so my question is if i manually inject(or spoof) the key from my samsung to the benq and will it be online safe (just spoofing the key not drive type) to play online im not looking to play backups right nmow just making my xbox read originals and playing them online with my benQ

There's no guarantee your console doesn't have an OSIG. TBH if you're worried about being live safe, get a like-for-like drive.
Spoofing a drive to different one is not online safe. And your Sammy cannot perform ap checks and benQ can so if I remimber right none of ap titles wont boot with this way if you swap the drive with sammu to benq.
well i swapped them in the time u took to post just didnt go online but the drive works the only reason i didnt buy a new sammy is cause the last time i bought one it was not reading games atall so i was ripped off and im not spoofing the drive im spoofing the key theres a difference im not telling my benq to be the samsung im making it a ben q with the Samsung key but injecting the key manually is called spoofing also it reads all my games so ig ill just hjave to wait to buy a replacement samsung
Then sammy has not been an original drive of the console and that is why none of XGD3 / ap titles didn't work
ig so later on when cr3 pro and dgx for phat comes out ill get the dvd and cpu key and see whats the original osig was
