I need some assistance. My original liteon drive has the open tray error. I flashed it with LT 1.9 with the latest dashboard with everything working fine before it started having the error. I purchased another liteon drive 74850c fw and I was trying to load the original fw (0251) to the new drive. I placed the dummy bin info in the source and chose the stock 74850c firmware from the downloaded stock fw files to put in the target. Pressed the spoof button and made sure everything matched. I then clicked on liteon erase. I proceeded and then received intro device failed. Now the drive will not respond to anything and is not showing in JF. Is it bricked? Is there a way to get it operable again. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I am using a CK3 kit and VIA 6421 card.

If the drive is not ejecting you probably have the lite-on erase problem.

Connect the drive to JF Try clicking the intro drive.
If you can get the intro then you can flash it again. Don't forget to power cycle On and OFF the drive after you click on the lite-on erase. I didn't see you doing this the first time.

If it still a no go, have a look at this video. It has worked for me every time.
