replacement pcb 0225 firmware vanishing

Hi there,
I flashed a replacement pcb for an 0225 drive just over 2 months ago. Everything worked fine. Then about 3 weeks ago it stopped reading all types of discs. Anyway when i hooked it up with X360USBpro, i located the drive in jungleflasher the replacement pcb had no firmware on it.

So I reflashed it with LTplus 2.0 (3.0 wasn't available then). Again the xbox was playing everything perfectly until a few days ago it has once again stopped reading any kind of disc.

Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried searching the forums but haven't found anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you currently using 3.0? Have you connected the console to XBL?

It's my friends xbox, he says he hasn't connected to xbl. Which i don't think he has since he's just moved house and has no internet, but it is a possibility. I havn't bothered to reflash it again incase fw vanishes, but i will use ltplus 3.0 next time

Are you ticking the flash protect switch on to disable any possible firmware flashes? If its on there is no way to read/write to the flash.

Make sure the Spi is locked on the pcb after you flash it and bring the dash and cfw up to date if its not already ..
