Hey All

I had a nightmare with my Slim 0225 so in the end bought a replacement PCB but even that's giving me trouble, it worked great for about an hour then started to not load my back-ups and even saying "play DVD" with original games, does anyone know what I can do to fix it, I re-flashed it today and it worked once until it was rebooted now it does the same thing as before!

Here is a video, 1st game is The Darkness II (XGD3) and 2nd Original COD4:

Is there a way to bypass the sister board or is that needed?

I made sure all the wires are in tight and the screw is on the metal not the plastic and it worked until I rebooted, it's back to the same fault again.

so it works until you reboot.

What if you unplug the PSU from the console for a minute, then retry?
Tried that now and still nothing, it's got me lost.

It will show the game image if I re-flash it then after I dashboard/turn off it's back to the same problem again.

Do originals do the same thing?

edit: yes, apparently.

flash your stock OFW back.
Flashed back to stock and it plays COD4 no probs, I'll reboot a few times to see if it's going to fail like before mate, thanks for your time BTW.

I'll come back and edit after a few reboots...

Pulled the power for a min then turned it back on and it's saying "Play DVD" that's what it was doing to Originals before.

It's got me lost now I had a drama with the chip now the PCB is driving me mad, not sure what to try next! :(

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, but I would contact your reseller at this point.
Thanks a lot Martin, just my luck man this week has been a long one and it's only Wed :p

I've been in touch with the reseller, used them for a while now and hopefully have no problems changing this one over because it does seem like it's a bad board :(

Cheers again mate,
