I bought a replacement tx pcb and I followed the team xecuter tutorial. I get to the part where I connect the board and I have to put it in vendor mode. I press intro and I power cycle the drive. Then I get a pop up saying "Device ID failed please return MRA hack device to normal position! Then, press OK to continue". This confuses me does it suppose to say that when I'm trying to put a blank tx pcb in vendor mode? Look at the attached picture for my current flash properties. For flash chip name it says unknown type. So when I try to write it tells me "
Unknown flash type Write aborted !" How can I get this working? I'm using a x360 USB pro along with a ck3 and the power cable that comes with the team xecuter probe 3.

If that doesn't work sometimes you need to probe the pcb.. But that can be found searching

Probe the pcb? with the probe 3? I will search because I am desperate to get this working. I don't suppose you can send me a link just in case I don't find it. Thanks for your reply

Have you got it set to phat? I have TX pcb, no need to probe or anything like that, detected finewhen you hit intro with x360usb

You should post JF log to get the best advice.

Or read this from like step 9 http:// team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67780

Sorry, I can't suggest anything useful, beyond standard fault finding - try to reset the usbpro, try another usb pro, try it on another pc..

Have you got your original board, does the usbpro read it ok?

Just trying to narrow down the exact cause of the error message..
