Hi My old Liton Drive.. 8 Series.. Died on me.. So i have a Refurbished Liton drive. but its a 7 Series.. is it possible to Flash the old Liton Key from the 8 Series to the 7 Series With out any issues and so how to do you do this. ?

no i think its my pcb i tried to flash it yesterday and i keep getting open close errors also tried and to replace laser and no luck.. still will not read games.. so i am forced to switch Drives and flash old key to new drive....
when you tried to replace the laser,was it a brand new laser,if so did you remove the antistatic solder ball on the laser before fitting it.
it was a laser i got from another Drive that worked well.. for me in the past and i knew that laser worked. so when it still did not work in the liton i ended up putting it back in the drive i got it out of.
which drive was the laser you tried out of,was it a benq or another liteon,open tray error is the laser,but you spindle motor could of went
i took the Laser out of a Benq Drive. but the Reason Why i made this Thread was because i know how to flash Firmware.. and Drives i just never Flashed a drive With another Key.. and the Steps on how to do it..
its just the same as flashing but make sure you have your dummy bin from your broken liteon,if so just hook the new drive up,in jungleflasher just load your dummy bin to source,and lt+3.0 or stock 02510c frimware to target.if its stock frimware you are using press spoof source to target make sure both keys match,then liteon erase, click yes at the messages, power cycle, write outro
