Alright. So I have a Falcon motherboard(not that that matters), but if I remove the x clamps, do I have to replace the thermal paste before I plug it all in and play, or will it work until I get some to replace it with?

I would remove the old thermal paste and put new one on before playing your system. If you do not use thermal paste (at least enough to cover your chips properly) your system will have issues quickly.

The best thermal paste is M-4
I have had zero problems with this paste and I use it for every job plus computer processors
U can find it new on eBay from $4-20
Depending on how many grams
