Replacing Xbox DVD-drvie

I have a Sony (DWQ30AB2) DVD-Dvive. How do I get this drive to work and function like my old DVD-Drive on my xbox. My Xbox is modded with an X3 chip and works fine.

i think its extremly complex because i think you have to mess with the electronics on the dvd drive to make it work.......and i think it has to be sata or something like that, look for some tutorials and post more information if you really want detailed steps or something.....
