Replacing Xbox slim w/93450c drive to 0401 drive help!

I recently discovered that on of my friends xbox has a different drive. Its for phat units 93450c drive. Now he want to buy my unlocked 0401 drive so i tried replacing it & i got "authorisation failed & restore verify failed" this was the steps i performed maybe u can point out where i went wrong.

1. Xbox slim 12265 dash w/93450c flashed drive.
2. Removed 93450c drive then saved dummybin using probe3
3.connected the unlocked 0401 drive then went to "firmware tool" i clicked "open source firmware" the i chose the dummybin.
4. Then it asked me if i want to autoload i chose "no"
5. I opened "open target firmware" the chose ltplus-0401-v2.0 then i pressed manual spoofing so i can paste my dummybin clicked tab then ok.
6. Now firmware tool32 looks ok coz soure & target drive key are the same plus it will load ltplus 0401 2.0 on it.
7. Then i directly went to "mtk flash 32" clicked I/O port & showed that the drive is dlim lite on 0401.
8. Then i clicked intro/device ID then it went to vendor mode & my spi is 0x00
9. I then clicked write & thays when i got this authorisation & restore verify failed.

Please point to me what i did wrong this time.

how to tell what original drive it came with?the manufacturing date is july 2010

cant i use any slim driveboard on it? does it has to be the same drive that came with it?

You can use any slim drive but you need to know what fw it came with the only way to do that is dump your nand and install coolrunner glitch it to xell grab your CPU key and open your nand image in 360 flash tool it will tell you there

hi sorry for the late reply coz i was busy doing paperwork for 3 straight days. anyways,i tried to check my kamikaze unlocked driveboard on my brothers slim xbox w/0225 fw. i dumped my brothers dummybin then loaded it to my unlocked 0401 drive & it worked on my brothers slim unit.

i guess it didnt work on the 9345 dummybin coz it was a phatkey extract,maybe it should be slimkey extract do you think?

coz i tried it again on my friends slim xbox w/0272 fw & it still worked. i guess its the 9345's dummybin thats not compatible.

any ideas? thanks.

He bought the unit somewhere in singapore & cant contact or find the shop anymore. Any suggestion how i can get the original key?
