Been away from the scene for quite some time now, and i recently dug up some of my old TX products, during a project of mine.
What i am wondering is if it is possible to use either the nand-x or the ck3 pro to read ttl data from non xbox related harware.
To be more specific, i have a zyxel router i want to debrand and need to connect it via com/ttl.
I know ttl usb cables cost 1-2$ @ ebay etc. but i want to use what i have at hand if possible.

If this is the completly wrong place to ask, feel free to call an idiot etc.

It should work, if you can get the voltages right. I think the xbox runs UART at 3.3v, and most PC's/Routers run it at 5v, so a few dropping resistors inline, and it should work. Maybe not, but that is what I would try. It would also help if you got on the openwrt/ddwrt forums, and did some research on your specific router. That being said, most custom router firmware can be installed from the web interface. I have come across some that dont work as well on some hardware though.
