Ignore this guys post - we have a product already designed and dev'd and will be in production this week - and you have no idea how fast things are moving - 12 weeks my ass :facepalm:

looking foward to this! can't wait for my slim to become jtag. now need to find someone in st louis to do this, my solder skills suck :( or maybe the tx solution will make it very easy to do....

i cannot wait to play with another new toy from tx. a massive thanks to everyone involved in discovering the glitch and of course to tx for simplifying everything and sorting another toy for the collection.

Not that i expect anything less but that's proper impressive, i'll certainly be keeping my eyes open for pre-orders to become available.

If I do recall, I said 4-12 weeks. However if you can design a product, test it, manufacture it and release it to the general public along with a re-booter within the next week or two that would be great :rolleyes2:

If he has inside info, wouldnt he know everything about production status?

[On Topic] Thanks to devs for making a (permanant?) solution for JTAG. Hopefully we see some new TX hardware to play with. Time to buy another xbox!

He might do, but I was merely expressing my views in the best scientific manner I can comprehend and Uber being himself he's responded in the only manner he knows how when he disagrees with someone. And for the record, I'm refering to both, hardware solution and software (re-booter)

Ok so I have not completed my university degree but part studies in computer science/information technology as well as working for 7 years in the telecom sector have tought me that a product takes time to develop and test before general release to the public. Let alone the last minute glitches and delivery issues encountered.

If the team can release a product in the next few days then so be it, I have always bought their products and will continue to do so.

Kinda figured that would happen. I'm glad I purchased mine a couple of months ago. I hope we will have enough of the "new products" Uber is talking about to go around.

It is the explicit wish of GliGli (and no doubt others involved) for this hack not to be called JTAG, because that really has nothing to do with the actual hack taking place. It's the "Reset Glitch Hack" or just Glitch/Glitched if you want.

Just thought I'd share that with you :)

On another note, why is it always so hard to get these sort of parts in the UK? Getting stuff from the US or China either takes an age, or costs a fortune in shipping :( /rant

Also been wondering if T-X have been considering a dual nand solution, along the lines of a Cygnos. Having a 2in1 firmware modded/glitched box would be kinda cool.

You mean the SMC hack? Hehe. RG hack works for me though.
