Dont know if this would actually be considered a mod chip but i do see those going for $40+???? don't suppose it matters - if you're doing a few, it's obviously for money - so charge accordingly - TX stuff as far as jtagging and hacks go though are ususally incredibly cheap for what they are, and generally a bargain I findIs it going to be under 20$? No JTAG is safe on Live..... Not now, and probably not at any time in the future
Any JTAG hack isn't live safe so take from that what you will
