not doubting your awesomeness or meaning any disrespect and i by no means have a technilogical out look on these things BUT:

cant we take what we know from the other re-booters (assuming you mean XBR and FreeBoot) ?

wiki does not say it any more from my recent searches but it used to define an "EFUSE" as a fuse with in the CPU that can be "burned" to do a different operation how ever the "EFUSE" can be re-invoked thought JTAG programming (but of course need a CPU key to do so), in other words the fuse is not actually burned things are just re-routed so why cant wer revert to an exploitable kernal?

just some thing i have been wondering this exploit is amazing and i know things need to be done to "perfect" it but why perfect what is already done?

The glitch is awesome but my understanding of programmed eFUSE can not be undone, the fuse is actually burned (well not completely but > 3.3volts is used to increase the resistance from under 500Ohm "unprogrammed" to greater than 5KOhm "programmed")

Regardless, we have some young bright minds at work here and they will figure this all out.

My understanding was that connectivity kit 3 was sold out.

Have you mention nand x in quoted post?

When you order? I ordered sunday night but never got a confirmation email for shipping

Same here. I ordered from Digilent Sunday evening and got a confirmation instantly. Did not hear anything from them Monday so I sent an email Monday evening. Did not get a response so I emailed again and I got this canned reply:

Dear Customer,

Any suggestions on a good USB programming solution for the Dligent C-Mod? As linked to by others, I struck quickly and was able to order one of these:

I also got a NAND-X & JTAG Connection Kit from modchip.ca and the necessary diodes and resistors and whatnot from Digikey.
I have most of the stuff I need to build an LPT cable but I'd have to find / build a computer with LPT, since nothing I am running is that old. I found this guy:

That one is specifically noted as being replaced by this product:

I have done a bunch of soldering in the old Xbox days, which is how I first learned about Xecuter. They rock! That's the other part of this dilemma: Since I have a NAND-X coming, and the new Xecuter hardware is gonna be just an add-on for the NAND-X, I could just wait for that and not even mess with the Diligent. However, then I won't have a fun hacking project for this weekend ;P We have like five 360s in the house at the moment, so I'm fairly certain once the Xecuter solution for this glitch becomes available I will need to buy a few of them.
The other thing I'm a little concerned with is, do you guys think there will be a run on NAND-X's? Are they selling out at the moment?

Why are you all panicking ? You are buying $50 cables and acting like you're on crack.

Just relax ffs - the Xecuter CoolRunner will do everything you need and wont cost more than $20 for everything - just chill.

I understand you're just looking out for TX as a loyal customer, and I can appreciate that. However, OP is an Admin and the linked zip file has all kinds of info about the digilent c-mod, the board used in this hack, the manufacturer of which is digilent as you can see their website printed on the board. If any of the admins feel the digilent talk is out of line, I'm sure they will not hesitate to let us know. Thanks though.

and if you had read any of the new news youd see that the TX CoolRunner is being produced which will have everything you need out of the box. So instead of people paanicking and screaming OMFGBBQHELPFFS!!!!! just chill and wait.

99.9% of you lot wouldnt have a clue what to do with the current hack anyway - its weeks away from being useful to the masses.
