Gr8 news... I have ordered a couple of boards from ebay.com but guys can u plz tell me from whr to get the xilinx jtag usb programmer cable.... I am not able to find it.

and if you had read any of the new news youd see that the TX CoolRunner is being produced which will have everything you need out of the box. So instead of people paanicking and screaming OMFGBBQHELPFFS!!!!! just chill and wait.

99.9% of you lot wouldnt have a clue what to do with the current hack anyway - its weeks away from being useful to the masses.

I did read about the TX CoolRunner, and now I shall chill and wait for it since it looks like digilent doesn't know how to process orders sequentially.

I agree, the hack in it's current form is only cool to weirdos like me who get all giddy when Xell loads for the first time on a fresh mod.

-> Solder everything

-> Run xbox hope it boots to Xcell

-> Plug in Harddrive and play Gears 3

You can make a programmable jtag cable from a LPT cable if you can't find one. The schematics are on the same archive with the glitch hack.



20 bucks are accessible.

But what about for those who already hurry up to buy the diligent CMod?

Will the freeboot run with Diligent Cmod ?

From a good source (Digilent distributor) : "Only a few hundred CPLD are available in Europe. Xilinx can ship new stock no sooner than the end of October."

I hope TX can source enough components this time. Demand/supply was a bit skewed the last time (unlocked pcb replacement board)...

Same here. I ordered from Digilent Sunday evening and got a confirmation instantly. Did not hear anything from them Monday so I sent an email Monday evening. Did not get a response so I emailed again and I got this canned reply:

I sent another email later today asking why they shipped orders of those who ordered after I did and am now awaiting a response. I placed my order at 9PM CDT Sunday when the site said in stock and shipping immediately. I'm probably gonna cancel.

This hack allows you tu run homebrew softs and nay other unsigned code. With wasabi and similar only enables playing from external drive. If you can run unsigned code, you can cook program to play games form external drive and get more functions than NXE.

This is cheaper and with more features, but you need sacrifice something - XBL.

I think this is in no way a money making exercise - although it wont hurt TX's pockets.....it's more to provide a cheap and easy way for people to complete the hack - the scene these days is more leaning toward making things easier for peeps, and TX do a spanking job - xk3y etc is based on work by C4E and the guys, so they don't have the understanding you think they do.....

One per console. You will need to leave addon in console. Addon sends pulse to exploit glitch - without addon, nothing will work.

Will order Nand-x and addon as soon rebooter for this will be launched...

But how do someone discovers this? How do someone discovered Kamikaze hack? I'm jus wondering what does they do with their consoles...
