Many thing give you "illegal" achievements on homebrew software. For example, just opening the snes emulator gives you 100 points.
As far as i know, these achievements are visible to xbl, and your gamertag would be either banned or corrupted.

It's probably not a good idea to use an online-gamertag on a homebrew console

thanks keiley. That kinda takes the wind outta my sails. lol I just liked the idea of getting xbla games and playing 360 games off a hdd instead of buying dual layers all the time. Damn microsoft for starting this whole achievement thing, I remember a day I played games just because they were fun, not for braggin rights.

i can't find the info about this in the original post, it may be there but in very techno babble kinda lang that i wouldn't probably understand, though i still think it pretty much isn't there.
what are the requirements for jtag on the later jaspers and the slims apart from the fact that they will run on ANY kernel(dash).

also, i have 13146 may 2011 dash and lt 1.9, but mistakenly, the MXIC was left unlocked after mod. is my console still jtaggable?

The Hack has nothing to do with the drive. It is a Motherboard hack. So what drive, firmware or type is irrelevent

If you are unsure as to what you require to do the hack then i suggest you wait until Tx bring out there full Nand/Hack kit.

It will work on all machines, Banned or not except Xenon motherboards. Falcons should follow when they have been exploited properly.

What do you mean safe.... This is not as safe as flashing your drive.... There is a lot more soldering and programming involved. It is the Mobo you will be messing about with, if you bodge that up, it's gone.

If you mess your drive up, at least if you have the key, you can get a new drive!!!!

And it is not Live safe, nowhere near as safe as flashing your drive.

But the extras are better, homebrew apps, Emulators, Media players that play all file formats, etc, etc.... Games direct from HD.

But you have the MXIC SPi chip so why would you need to do the 'Kamikaze' hack...:rolleyes2:

This is great news. Before the Xbox360 even came out I dreamed of a dashboard with integrated XLink Kai and XBMC. Can still happen? I hope so.

It's an excellent achievement after a long time. Thanks all the members who were part of this achievement.

Can any one ans few question --

• Is there any extra feature in JTAG2 over JTAG1. I know till now JTAG2 is a complex process. But I think feature is same as it is JTAGable. JTAG 2 seems to be un patchable by M$ without hardware update.
• Can we retrieve DVD key using JTAG2 hack. I have 1 XBOX that is unusable as it's DVD is gone. Need DVD key to replace it.
• If I use this hack, and if I do not have DVD then what problem Shall I face. I think I can play all games from HDD.

to heartshacker. this is a jtag hack theres no jtag1 or jtag2. it allows you to run unsigned code. yes you can retrieve the dvd key. if you dont have a dvd drive it doesnt matter. you can run stuff from hd.

Lurker here.
After 64 damn pages of reading.... I'm content with all the knowledge about this new discovery, as well as annoyed by how stupid people can be these days.

All you have to do is read people, and wait, just like Uber said. WAIT.
It's not like everything has been released for this to be complete. So just relax and if you don't think before you type, well..... Your fault.
