nvm I'm going to say it probly is as the slim in the video has the new matte finish, and the revisions are from when the slim first came out and the latest is trinity, should look into manufacturing dates.

As stated 1000 times before: It has NOTHING to do with jtag, but it´s also a way to run homebrew on your xbox (yes, slim 4gb, too).
And there already is a name to it: reset glitch hack

i think the reason that people are still referring to it as a Jtag is because its easier to type than reset glitch hack ino im pretty lazy and refer to it as that even tho everyone knows its the reset glitch hack.. (RGH) maybe that will take off ;P

I think reset glitch hack is perfectly fine.
the prefix "re" would suggest that it brings the cpu back to a state MS has patched before or something. and that would be just plain wrong.

Most people don´t care what I say either, and will call it "jtag" anyways.
But for people who have a little bit of thechnical knowledge, it hurts to hear it being called technically wrong names.

I saw a few pages back there might be other slim motherboard revisions. Well I did a little digging around, and I found two possibles...
Valhalla (250GB model, Launch one I think) and Vejle (not sure what this one is)
I'm wondering at what point the "Trinity" was released, since the RGH is for that motherboard. We could really do with some kind of timeline for Slim motherboard revisions so people have an idea what to look for.

Rest assured, the Digilent sales guys at the water cooler do know what the fuss is about. Without pretending not to have any interest in it, there are other Digilent boards worth a look for those too impatient to wait for the new production run. FPGA boards, JTAG programmers, all there. Seeing the outrageous price hike (ahem http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xilinx-CP...601166190&po=&ps=63&clkid=2405453181491559132), it might make more sense.

I assume they've done that on purpose in order to stop people buying them while they get more back in stock, but looking at the 'sold' list you see someone paid $170 for one! Wow!
