Hackfaq.net is reporting about a ReBooter (hot-reboot of the console into a hacked 360 kernel allowing unsigned XDK software - like done for the SMC (JTAG) hack before) for the Reset Glitch Hack (RGH):

Gboot is working
Today it's not a great day, for the J-Tag owners. After some weeks with a lot of work, it is real.
Gboot is running. Gboot is the first kind of rebooter for the Glitch Hack.
Gboot ist no rebooter, like Freeboot. It can actual only boot one game at the time. Now it is a developer version, but there come a ready complete rebooter.
Ok what must you do, to play a game? You need a working Glitch Hack and a dump of the nand.
So why a dump of the nand? We create a nand image with a hacked 13599 Kernel and hardcoded gamepath.
Ok now lets go to Xell Reloaded, we put our fresh generated xenon.elf to a USB drive and plug in into the xbox.
Power on your xbox and enjoy the show.
Yes it works the first game, with a Glitch Hack.
We work hard, that you can enjoy a dashboard like the original, but actual it can only boot a default.xex an nothing other.
And now we feel sorry, for all the J-Tag owners. But guys you are out.
This is a developer version, be patience a public tool comes in a few weeks.

I to have read the news.

And still cannot decide if its a fake or not.
I love Xbox scene and everything. But even they can get it wrong. I looked through a few pages of the replies just to make sure but it is mostly jtag fanboys protecting their pride and joy.

There are a few good posts there including the one that includes the link to the same website and the page when they first released Ye instructions on how to unlock mxic slims. Apparently one of the first to do o.

Whether it is or not. I will reserve judgement. Till it is more confirmed.

Could be that the original posters want it kept quiet until the code is running better. Only time will tell.

Let's hope it not fake.

So on the falcon all that is needed is the coolrunner and the nand-x and the rgh v1.1?

Hey Guys,

I have a refurbished Xenon Xbox which means it has an Opus mobo with the Hanna chip, does anyone know if this can be hacked with the reset glitch?

I know its not a lot of guys who have this opus board, so might not be worth the effort to try and hack it, but it would be really nice if it was possible..

they said that falcon has the fastest timing so far, of 5 seconds. i have a falcon waiting also. i guess ill keep my slim legit and use my phat for rgh.

I've two consoles one is xenon motherboard 2006 model and the other is a Jasper board with hdmi the both of them are on dash 13599 can I jtag them either/both of them with the reset glitch hack

You can't do the RGH on the xenon, but for the jasper the answer is yes. Forget jtag-ing them.

You cannot JTAG either of them

The title says that the one of them at least can be glitched....... :facepalm:

The xenons cannot be glitched. :rolleyes2:

You would know this if you read the first page

Well at least I can Glitch one of them , that means I can use homebrew software and install my games and play them on hdd
I was hoping it would be the xenon because the drive isn't working

You can't install and play games from HDD with Glitch Hack... At the moment, it's not with most JTAG features... Only Xell, Linux and emulators.

So I can only extract my CPU key with xell , Linux and run emulators.
What about things like (RxE) from team FSD.
I mean this just the start right , i have read that The Sputnik team are making Gboot

Yes, it's just beginning... About GBoot - HackFAQ site just publiced info they received... They don't say that it's fake and can't confirm that GBoot is real... Time will show.

At least there is some project called RGLoader... Look for info in #rgloader @ EFNet

I'm not spamming, just saying that RGLoader looks like real solution for Glitch (re)booter... This small project needs help...
