personally, i would wait for the release of the xecuter coolrunner and an official tutorial
it will make things much much easier
otherwise, you will need a couple things
1. CMOD
2. CMOD socket
3. 220pf capacitor
4. lots of wires
5. JTAG programmer cable
6. diodes
^all of that comes to a rather pricey total

Got mine last weekend end, no need for any other tools just a soldering iron to fit the board has he ships them pre-programmed/prepared

Im pretty sure were gonna need a JTAG usb programmer cable even after xecuter coolrunner is available unless we get the schmatics for a home made version.
Yea on eBay you can get all you need for $39 just do a search for it. It's not really that difficult if you can solder.

Or you can buy the matrix glitch chip thats out. They are a pretty good company when they made the Ps2 modchips which are still regarded as the best chips to have so I see no reason why they can't translate to this.
I would suggest going over to Xbox-scene.com and get ahold of Kipper2k. Bought my chips from him for half the cost of any company and they work great. Set up a nandwich mod and now have a dual booting system.

i want to buy an Matrix reset glitch and I need to program it but i do not have an LPT port, is it possible to program the glitcher with the LPT cable and an LPT to USB adapter ?
