Excellent!

I'm just waiting for the 6751 CB to be hacked for a BB Jasper I have here...!
Martin...

Does this apply to all Jaspers or just the BB 512? In other words, if I have a 16mb jasper at 6750, should I be able to do that one?

CB 6750 should always be do-able. 6751 is causing grief as is 6752. The latter apparently can be done using the same wiring as a slim, but not had a chance to test it.

Martin,

The reason I asked the above question, is due to I have 16mb jasper at 6750 and I did it the same way. But after writing the ecc it went RROD. I backed the original nand up 4 times and they all matched without any errors.

I thought it was related to a bad write, but I have written it several times and still RROD. I guess it's just a coincidence, and it went RROD after removing the board and moving it around.

Seems weird though, but I guess it could happen.

Any suggestions on what maybe to try if anything?

Thanks

The ECC code should prevent RRoD - did you definitely wire it up correctly?

Exactly like the last three 512 jaspers I did and they all came out fine. They were all at 6750. This 16mb unit, I have written the original nand back to it and uninstalled the usb programmer and the c-mod and still have RRoD.

Could it be just a bad write? It's only 16mb and only takes about 45 secs... So I have done the the write many times.

Any idea....

Check the traces to the solder points and look for solder bridging caps. Had a Zephyr that I was working on go 0102 from a small solder ball on a cap underneath the gpu heatsink. Then had it go completely dead...That one was a broken trace at the STBY_CLK point. Had to get the multimeter out for that one, hahaha.

I would check over all your soldered points. It's possible you have a bridge somewhere.

The 6751 I have here works absolutely fine when I flash the original 50 blocks back.

Well, I did the infamous x-clamp fix and it booted right up into xell. Unfortunately it may not last long. This exploit is very fun, but need to install it on a good XBOX.

Thanks for all the help….
