resistors

well sense nobody at xbox scene is good enough to reply to my post ill post it here

im getting some leds from www.123leds.com and i dont really know anything about resistors i did the resistor calculator thing and for the yellow and red i got 100ohm resistors from the calculator and for the blue and green 150ohm is this correct..

Sounds good if you use the calulator and typed in everything in right.

well it not that hard just put in the info from the leds that you orders plus the voltages you are using I believe it will be 5volts.

and the calculator will tell you the resistors just make sure that you are using the leds in parallel

for the calculator i would put in

Supply Voltage: 5
Voltage Drop Across LED: 3.3
Desired LED current: 20

is that right if so i did them right i used this calculator http://www.quickar.com/noqbestledcalc.htm

ya a 100ohm is fine for a 5v power supply if you are only hooking up one led.

if you hook up more then 1 hook them up in parallel

yeah i used 100 ohms just fine no problems at all
