I thought I would post my password fix for others to use. Could we possibly make this a sticky as so many people post about it?

So, you set the password on your 3294 BIOS, and now your stuck on the 'Rox My Box' screen..

:Tools/Apps needed:

Evox 3595 Dash (xbins)
X3_1959.bin (xbins)
Craxtion 4
dummyfile.exe
Nero (or whatever burning software you like)
CuteFTP (or whatever)

:Create a bootable CD with Evox 3935 Dashboard:

1. Get Evox 3935 from XBins
2. Copy Skins, evoxdash.xbe & evox.ini into c:\temp (or whatever temp folder you want)
3. Rename evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe
4. *If necessary, edit evox.ini with necessary TCP/IP info*
5. Create a dummy.bin file (minimum 100mb) using 'dummyfile.exe' into c:\temp
6. Use Craxtion 4 to create an ISO
7. Burn to disk with Nero (or whatever you like)

:Boot up burned disk and FTP to your Xbox:

1. Insert disk and boot up
2. FTP from your PC to your xbox (un:xbox pw:xbox)
3. Create C:\BIOS folder on xbox
4. Upload X3_1959.bin to C:\BIOS on xbox

:Flash Bios with 1959:

1. Cold Boot to Backup BIOS (Power & Eject buttons)
2. Select Flash BIOS from HDD
3. Select x3_1959.bin

Done. :)

At this point, you're back to a clean state. If you want, you can FTP 3294 onto the xbox (un:x3 pw:x3) and reflash, via the X3 BIOS. Once you have the X3 BIOS files loaded onto the xbox hard drive you can reflash from the Backup BIOS at any time without needed the CD, although I would suggest keeping it around just in case. ;-)

FYI, You should be able to get to the Backup BIOS and http the 1959 bios onto the box instead. It should work, but for me it didn't. It's worth a try though first, before you go through all the disk burning steps.

The above worked perfectly every time. Yes, I actually 'broke' the box with the password setup and fixed it with the steps above. :) The main point is to get the 'safe' 1959 bios onto your xbox hdd so that you can easily fix it in the future should you need to again.
