restore back to original FW??

Ok guys i want to restore my Hitachi drive back to its original Fw, but my drive was flashed by a friend so i don't have the original fw saved anywhere. My question is if i have the Maximus-Garyopa2.3 saved on my computer, can i still run the restore.bat cmd using the folder containing the Maximus-Garyopa2.3 to go back to original fw?? this is from page 96 of the tutorial.

Also where it says X-LG folder, where is that folder found and does the X here also stand for the drive letter.

the original is not needed when using restore.bat. the restore cmd will patch the hacked fw back to the original. X-LG is the folder you get when you unrar 2.3. i suggest putting the X-LG folder in the root of c. (c:/X-LG)

WOW you guys are great now i can rest easy i was so scared that i was done! Thankyou Groundpounder for the help. ok so unrar 2.3 and place x-lg folder as c:/X-LG? thanks again
