Trying to read all related posts but couldn't get the answer clear for myself .. obviously I couldn't understand how the EMUNAND works totally....
My case start from my stupid upgrade to version 7.0.1 and fuse burnt (luckily I have the SYSNAND backup at 6.1 but I don't have any EMUNAND created)
What I did:
Restore the NAND to 6.1 (obviously cannot boot OFW as the fuse burnt already)
Boot into SX OS, use the latest v2.5.3 to create EMUNAND (option "Files on microSD)
I am now able to launch CFW and play the XCI games
Questions:
1. I want to upgrade back my OFW to v7.0.1. If I restore NAND in SX OS using the old backup, would it delete / impact my EMUNAND which I am happy for it to stay in v6.1? What is the best way to do this? (I cannot do this via official way as I cannot boot up OFW)
2. In my downgrade 6.1 CFW, I got problems playing some XCI games as it prompts error "A system update is required" stop launching the game. Is there anyway to resolve this?
I read posts about DEVMENU / goldleaf having a function "not checking firmware version" when installing the games, but I got errors when I tried to install any nsp .. I am happy to stay with XCI but I have no way to launch the game... any advice?
Thanks.
