Retail NAND Not Booting/Reading

I can read the stock NAND fine when I only have power, ground, and RB soldered in. It will power but not boot; the fan just spins like crazy. When I solder SBR, RX, and TX, retail will not power on with retail, but it will with the DemoN NAND. It's a Corona V3 board. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Any help is appreciated. I know the flux is bad, I haven't bothered to clean it since I keep resoldering wires.

Have you checked for continuity between the soldered points on the DemoN and the NAND topside? You NEED SBR soldered as this is used for switching NANDs.

I didn't have a chance to grab my multimeter and test the NAND points, however I did find out that when the DemoN tries to read the NAND now, it has the wrong header. I wrote the retail NAND back, read it, and once again, had the wrong header. Initially, I was able to read the original NAND just fine (got 2 perfect dumps).

I would go no further until you've checked all points for continuity, not forgetting to check for adjacent shorts.
Alright, I'll get to that after I return from class. When you say topside NAND, I'm going to assume you mean the 360's NAND chip on the top of the board. Is there a diagram that will line up each point to the NAND chip? I don't think I've ever seen one.

Step 1. Measure continuity between the test points on the Demon. All points should read open between the points.

Step 2. Place one probe on a test point on the Demon and use the other on the top side of the NAND. If step 1 checks out then it really doesn't matter were is goes on the top side as long as you get continuity on o e of the points.

Tapatalk misspelled it. Knot me.

Looking at your OP, you are aware that unless you have a valid NAND written to your DemoN, trying to boot it with just an ECC written will just result in the fans going crazy? That's what SMC Config is for.

LED on - DemoN activated.
LED off - 360 NAND activated.

Without the SBR wire soldered, pressing the button does nothing. It needs the wire to switch the NAND usage from the southbridge.

Use this information and hopefully you can resolve this. Failing that (or if this doesn't make any sense), take it to an installer to fix for you as indicated by the card.

As I said previously, I was able to get a good NAND read using the DemoN. I was able to create a glitch image and that is currently on the DemoN side. It will glitch fine in 2-4 cycles and loads to the dash. Only when I switch NANDs does it not work. With SBR soldered in, it will not power on with the 360 NAND. That is where I'm not sure what would be causing it.

Should also mention that this isn't my first DemoN install, probably my 10th. This is the first that has ever given me an issue like this.

None of your pics show the SB wire soldered.

Have you thought about the concept of the console being damaged by the person who lifted the NAND points?
I soldered it back in after you stated it the first time. X8 doesn't need to be installed, correct? That is simply for the On/Off command, if I remember correctly.
