ANSWERED retrieve CPU Key through J-Runner and Xell and Network Cable....what type ? CAT6/5E ?

hi TX members , as some of you may know im learning slowly on how to RGH and i want to get a Network Cable in the future to connect from the XBOX 360 to my Switch to retrieve the CPU Key through J-Runner software and Xell.



can i use a CAT6 Network Cable or should i get a CAT5E ?

they both have 8 pins... please tell me the purpose of this question? you like the synthetics? like CAT6 have? if you like synthetics go with CAT6.

hi john and Ac1d , yes i know i can get the CPU Key off Xell i was thinking though if i were to type it into J-Runner from the Xell and i were to get one character wrong what would happen ?


so i was thinking to use a Network Cable and get it spot on................also i dont want to order a CAT6 Cable and find out that i cant retrieve the CPU Key

I like it best to have a network cable attached. Once xell has booted you can key the ip address from xell into jrunner and hit Get CPU Key and it grabs it and moves all the files into a directory which it creates with the serial number of your console with all the relevant files.
