LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Returning to stock using only dummy.bin

I have a DG-16D4S with TX unlocked pcb installed.

I want to update to LT3.0, i only have the dummy.bin, key.bin, serial.bin, inquiry.bin and identify.bin

I thought i had a good full dump but it turned out to be bad.

I want to know can i just open dummy.bin and spoof to the stock 0255.bin that comes with Latest_iXtreme_and_Stock_Firmware_Pack flash that to the unlocked pcb and update online, then reflash to new LT?

when i spoof i get error Target is LT - ID strings not copied to Target.

ID string not copied to target is OK as long as "Write verified OK" on the log.

That's rite load your dummy and auto load ixtreme or load you Ixtreme manually and click spoof source to target

I know how to flash firmware thats not the question.

I need to flash back to stock so i can take an update. I only have dummy.bin and the key. My understanding is lt firmware will cause the update to fail.

Take your dummy load into source load stock fw in target hit spoof source to target then write.


You will now have stock firmware for the update.

stock firmwares come with the ixtreme fw pack. load your dummy as source, the stock fw you want to flash as target, click spoof, then flash the file.

Dummy.bin is all you need. Use it as the source. Dashboard 13146 will cause it to fail if reading from a disk because it gets flashed back to stock.

Yes i was very serious why do you feel the need to post if you dont know the answer.

I went a head and flashed the stock firmware to the unlocked pcb and it updated fine. I was just second guessing undating a third party pcb online .
