Just did CR/DemoN install on my slim & I need to revert to stock FW to update my retail NAND. I got the DVD key through Xell-Reloaded, but have no dummy.bin and no copy of the stock FW. I got a VIA card and a CK3 Mini and can see the drive. I can see the drilled hole from when it was kamikaze'd. Haven't really seen any guides on my situation. Any direction some one can lend would be nice. I've read that dipping a q-tip in isopropyl and swiping it across the hole will re-unlock it. Bu't I couldn't get that to work. Thanks for any direction.

Unfortunately once dummy.bin is lost you will never be able to get DVD functionality on retail side. You need to use a donor dummy.bin and using your RGH NAND inject the DVD Key from the donor dummy.bin.

He didn't state drive type but likely this is the case.
Recreating dummy.bin is only possible on 9504/0272 unless you know of some other way?

Drive says FW 0225 HW A0A0 but in jf I saw 0272, but maybe that has to do with LT+3.0 being on there..
Well when you get a chance please share as I am sure many members would find that useful.
Sounds like it was a 9504 (what's the NAND/KV say?) Likely a 0225 drive that was unlocked and flashed to 9504/0272, etc.

Uh guys, the drive appears to work fine here. Just follow the jf tutorial to extract and flsh the drive.
