Yo everyone

Although I am *technically* no longer a noob on here, I am still a beginner so I hope its OK to post in here (yes it may be cowardly but I guess that makes me coward)

I have a jasper box, the usual DVD CFW but no RGH yet.

Im runnin the 14699 dash and i'm aware that if I update to lastest dash before I RGH then until RGH 2.0 I wont be able to get CPU Key.

So if I decide to RGH tomorrow, get my CPU key etc, then decide I want to go online to play some Dark Souls, do I have to permanently sacrifice my RGH ability by flashing back stock NAND and updating to latest dash thereby making it impossible to go back to RGH NAND?

Or does the fact I already have my CPU key mean that in theory I can go between stock and RGH NAND as much as I want?

If what im sugesting is impossible, and is the whole reason DemoN is being developed then I apologise, but to my knowledge I dont remember reading anything here which explictly forbids oscillating back and forth between a stock and hacked NAND image.

thanks for you reply

after doing a bit more reading, is the fact you cant go back caused by the LDV value by any chance?

I suppose once the hacked 14719 image is released with RGH 2.0 then it will be possible to change from that to stock.

unless DemoN is out by then, in which case DemoN prob easiest method to use

I believe you can build a retail image with your CPU key. Provided you don't run an official update, you should be fine.
ah I see, is that because a live retail update would blow eFuses whereas a USB can be made so it doesn't?

I know RGH 2.0 is coming, but as its my birthday tomorrow and ill be getting some sweet sweet cash :D think ima buy nand-x coolrunner etc and just do the RGH, worst comes to worst I wait for 2.0 before going on live

I just feel that I've done so much reading now that I just HAVE to see what all the fuss is about! Weirdly (or maybe not) I seem to enjoy soldering and modding the 360 more than actually playing it!
