RGH RGH 1 Falcon (I guess)

Hey!

I bought an RROD Falcon, but I managed to fix it, just had a problem with its DVD drive.

So when I opened the console, I saw the marks of that it is, or it was RGH-ed (soldering points have some tin), but there was no chip inside.
I read the nand, and the J-runner shows what I attached.

When I power on the console, it does nothing, so I guess it has an RGH1 nand inside, according to the j-runner (can I be sure?)
So I installed a cr3 lite, I will post the images of the soldering. I don't have the original nand, only the nand it has in the chip.

I can hear thet it glitches, but I don't see the green light flashing, and sometimes after a while, like 5-6 glitches I get RROD 0022.

According to the post about the CR3 lite, the jumper setting is good.

LK1 Short
LK2 Opened (tried with short too)
LK3 Opened
LK4 All open

Tried changing the switches too, nothing happened.

Thx for the help :)

im guessing you are doing RGH-1? wich never worked for me... I allways go with RGH 2 on PHAT-s. and I allways used REV C.

The problem is that I don't have the original nand file, so I can't update the dashboard, and I can'tt boot the console, I don't have the CPU key, ect. Is it possible to have these things? And is it possible to guess from the nand file, if it has an RGH 1, RGH 2 or Retail nand?
Why is the green led not flashing?

Its prob still retail nand. In j-runner it auto selects what
modification you will use based on your nand-dump write back the first nand you read off of it and remove the fake coolrunner and see if that works

First I tried to power it on withouth the chip, it didn't boot. Center green led flashing (because the DVD Drive is not connected) fans are spinning, but it doesn't boot.

Wire it up for rgh 2, and write the premade xell image to the nand. If it boots xell, you can see what cb it has, and try creating a new stock image to the board. RGH2 will boot on any dashboard, where jtag/rgh1 are patched out after a certain point.

Thx I will try that :)

The CR is not fake as I know - at least the seller told me that - , I've just lost the original cables for it.

I tried that but I had no luck. I made the RGH 2 wiring, changed the switches according to that, made an ECC and wrote it to the nand. The green led is still not flashing normally, it flases for like 0,1 seconds every 5 seconds, and it tries to glitch forever ( I tried 30 minutes for each timing file)

I also wrote back the "original" nand, no green led, but the fan speed is changing every 5 sec, but after 6 glitch attempts, I get RROD 0022.
I still think that we cannot be sure, that the nand what was in the console is the retail nand.
So anybody who could tell me a method, for figuring out, if it is retail or non-retail, I would be very thankful.

And I can be sure, that the CR3 chip is working, because before I put it in a Trinity console, and it worked perfectly.

For help on these forums, you are still required to show you have a genuine Xecuter product.

THATS RIGHT.

too many people post logs and pictures of soldering and the whole 9 yards of info we need to help, but when they dont take a picture of the cr or cr3 or whatever chip they have installed it is an instant red flag and you wont get much help so if you know its genuine you will post a picture of it to prove us wrong.. we WILL know the difference even if you cant see it. only advice i can give you right now is use soldering flux and shorten your conductors down as far as you can so they dont short on nearby points

This sounds like a hardware issue., as this method should work even if you erased the nand completely.
