was wondering if you can use a cr4 on a rgh1 console ? i have a falcon board with dash 9919 and wondering if the solder points are the same or if they are different ? plus also wondering what the difference between the rjtag install of the cr4 is and the non rjtag version is ? sorry i was around when the first jtag for hdmi consoles came out so all i know is rgh1 and rgh2

do i can just click the rgh2 { now glitch 2 or glitch 2m ? } on jrunner and that should work fine even when i am on dash 9919 , and i know this is a dumb question but since i am not using a qsb on the board and there is no direct wire diagram for the cr4 on the forums here or in jrunner yet , which point is the 5v ? i know which one is the 3.3v but not the 5v

Exactly correct. Wire up for rgh2+ according to the tutorial here in the cr4 forums.

1. You cannot use RGH1 with a CR4.
2. I am in the same boat as you and have a Jasper with a 14699 dash and have ordered a CR3 Rev C to do an RGH1 install they are great chips and you can get them to instaboot I know I had one until it was stolen.
RJTAG may or may not instaboot all the time and RGH2 most probably wont.
RGH2 is the easiest install and doesn't need the Jtag wiring like R-Jtag but generally has more erratic glitch times.

One of the CR4 beta testers says otherwise or are you saying that he is wrong?
The CR4 has been designed to work with any motherboard (minus Xenon) and almost any CB version.
The CR Rev. C is great for RGH1 or Trinity installs, but genuine CR Rev. C glitch chips are very hard to find these days.

Well I was told by another admin on here that you can't so don't shoot the messenger:
"We didn't even bother to make CR4 support RGH1 due to the small market for it."
When are you going to put out an install guide for it?

You follow the RGH2+ guide.
When you build the glitch image, it will have the correct bootloaders, SMC and patches in it (CR4 RGH2+ requires a different SMC).

And jsinger said RGH2 works on any dashboard, wich eliminates the need for RGH1 on CR4.

Have you used the CR4 yet?
The most stubborn RGH2 consoles usually boot in 2-3 cycles with the CR4.
