Hi everyone,

Lots of threads on this forum helped me out a lot, so I decided to create an account.
I am having a problem with my first RGH 2.0 on a Falcon. After I wrote the ECC I am not greeted with XELL I am using:

Nand-X
Coolrunner Rev C (No Replica)
J-Runner

I have programmed my Coolrunner in J-Runner with B (Opus/Falcon) and with Falcon. But no luck... I've tried using the ECC in the J-Runner /common/ECC/Falcon.ecc and my own created ECC. I've compared all the nands (4 Nand Reads) all the same no bad blocks. I've Re-solderd all wires 4 times now and used lots of flux and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. My Xbox is now on for 30 Minutes... I've pressed the eject button and normally booted it up but nothing.

Here are the soldering images

I will make a photo of the wire under the board asap.

My Coolrunner Is Set to NOR when I try to go into Xell, it stays on the red light and the green one blinks every 5 seconds.

Please Help me as soon as possible.

Make sure you wrap your slim rst wire around the front of the heatsinks and coil the slack over the the south bridge and connect to cool runner. Program cool runner with rgh2 file B, remove C8 on the cool runner, set switch to slim, and leave 1-2-3 open. She'll be booting within 30 seconds in no time :)

Those solutions don't compare to what I mentioned above. Seriously, use what I said and it will boot falcon rgh2 consoles FAST! I just did one yesterday with insta-boots 80% of the time! :)
You are correct. I'm adding info to the thread with the hopes of reducing time invested in troubleshooting (to the OP as well as future readers). I also have little experience with Falcons, so I wouldn't argue with your solution. :)

Okay so thanks for the help, we did what you said exactly but now: RGH 2.0 Falcon Randomly Turns On/Off
Idk what to do please help us out. I have attached a video or a link..

Its still uploading but it should be there soon...

http://youtu.be/wDE4C1_sFos

The console turns on and off, when we unplug the power cable and plug it back in it turns on after 10-15 seconds. I can't turn it off. I can turn it on sometimes. The fan (original and custom) randomly speeds up 100%. And turns off the fan and xbox RLOD Flashes around. Red ring is on so I tried reading the code Xell suddenly was on the screen while in Red Ring. Speeds up fan and turns off. Some times I can boot into NXE and I will launch XexMenu and it works fine. Turn it off and it turns itself back on. I couldn't demonstrate all in this video because everything is RANDOM!!

We would really appreciate it if you could help me out.

The video is private, can't see it. It sounds to me like you have a short or bad connection

Yeah, that's a short or terrible connection for sure. Can I see some photos of the wire connections as they are right now? Especially B point

the reason your fan is going quite fast is because you have the board out of the chassis and will be slightly flexed/warped
put in in the chassis and screw it down and the fan will be quiet as normal but i would suggest you soak the board and straighten it out before assembling it.

Sounds to me like a southbridge issue, apply pressure on SB before you power on.Power on(pressure still applied) and post results.
