Hi, I know the title is moron. But that happened.

SITUATION: NAND flasher installed, Coolrunner installed, STOCK FIRMWARE.

Using above combinations, I can go to live and play legal games, purchase XBLA, etc. I've been doing these for 3 months, no BAN.

Anyway one day I went to live, then I accidently pushed the button of updating new dashboard, then the tragedy happened.
I were scared of plugging of the power, so I waited until the update process finished.

After that, I can't boot anymore. 3 red lights (ring of death) appeared.

SO I TRIED TO FLASH ORIGINAL STOCK FIRMWARE(the backup during 1st time modding RGH).
If I'm not misunderstanding, in common sense that should work with no problem, right?

But it's still showing RING OF DEATH. I can do nothing now.

Is there any suggestions? FYI I'm using nandpro, dunno if that matters.

dumb question...did you remove the power wire to the coolrunner before powering on the xbox with the stock nand firmware?

Switch the coolrunner to prg mode. If you used an old dump the ldv don't match. You'll need to boot xell and find the ldv or if you made a backup before rewriting your old image just write it back. No need to remove power

Still have problems.Sorry bcs of my stupid!

I have red light(no green light) on coolrunner, can't boot into Xell.
Thank God I have the cpu key , thus I modified ldv value(plus 1) on my glitched image (which worked well before official update) via 360 flash dump tool.

If I'm not wrong, it should boot flawlessly right?
But this time, after 5min I have nly green light on 360, only red light on Coolrunner.

I've considered few possibilities. Wondering which of the following statements is true.

1.Due to some unknown reason(check this post http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=510207&postcount=10 ), I have to re-program my coolrunner to make it works.

2.During fixing ldv's problem(I disassemblied 360 to flash nand) , I messed up the soldering of coolrunner. Need to recheck them.

3.Any other problems that I'm too stupid to discover.

therefore, RGH no longer works

in order to glitch into an image, you will need to wait for RGH2

After reading all the possible topics here, I know what happened on my phat. Thank you. To be compared with you, I'm just like a dumb-ass : p

But..LAST question.SORRY!
As a final try, I built an retail image from my stock backup with ldv+1/+2/+3(via 360 multibuilder). That's a glitchable dashboard version, so I "guess" with correct ldv value it would work - at least let me play with legal discs!

So I flashed the nand three times with: ldv+1, ldv+2, ldv+3.
Of course I had Coolrunner set to PRG.
But neither of them worked.0022 error ring of death.

Does this mean that: After updating the dashboard version, I cannot directly revert to older backups even with ldv modification. DUE TO THE FACT that updating via official update not only change the nand contents, but also change something else on the console.

Am I wrong? or I need to reball my GPU BGA...(Possible, but least unlike option, bcs it died just after I have updated)

You CANNOT just edit the LDV in 360 Flash Dump Tool. The LDV is now also encrypted into a number of files too.

You need to create a retail image with your new LDV. Flash to the console and set the CR to PRG.

OH MY GOD! I can't believe that Martin C is here to solve my dumb questions. Many of your guides really helped me a lot during the whole RGH process, and the last 8 struggling hours.

Anyway I'm not a native speaker, so I really don't have enough vocabularies to express my feelings at this moment.

To conclude: I successfully booted into stock with Coolrunner set to PRG, firmware built from 360 multi builder 0.921, and the dashboard version 14719.
The problem was that I used older version of 360 multi builder, which doesn't support the dashboard version to which I accidently updated.

For now, I'll wait patiently until the latest RGH2 for 14717/14719 phat release. Hope that I could donate something / contribute to the society more in the future ：DDD

if you got your cpu key i'm pretty sure you won't need rgh 2.0.

You still need RGH 2.0 to perform the glitch on dual CB phat consoles.
