Hello everybody.

I'm pretty much a noob XBOX360 related - I just bought one. 2011 model Slim, I have to check if it's the Trinity or Corona though.

I read through various threads and information, but I still have some questions.

What I basically want is to be able to load my X360 with games on external HDD, aswell as filling the internal HDD with XBLA stuff. I don't wish to play online or to have the console connected to the internet at all.

1. if the above is what I want, do I need to install anything else than the TX CR4?
2. What is the optional QSB for? in most installation instruction I've seen, it's said that it's required for a problem free installation.
3. Do I need to make a dump of the NAND regardless?
4. Do I need any additional flashing tools for the CR4? or will it work right outside the box after installing? In instructions for the CR3, I see requirements to connect it seperately for configuration so it won't ruin the NAND.
5. After soldering the CR4, how do I flash the dashboard in?
6. What's the JR programmer for? do I need this aswell?

Thank you all for the patience!

Ok so for starters,

1. yes,you will need to install the nand-x wires or jr programmer v2 wires
2.the optional qsb (depends on which qsb)would be used to help install the nand-x wires or jrprogrammer v2 wires (And is required for the corona v3 and v1 i think or just v1 idk)
3.Yes of course, you have to do that first
4.The jr programmer v2 comes with a coolrunner programming cable to connect to it to install the timing files
5.There are some threads on how to flash in the dashboard (LOT'S of different ways)
6.And of course you need the jr programmer, because it is what is going to dump your nand and flash it to the console, and the coolrunner will just glitch it to read the glitched nand

And lastly i know this is old but maybe he still needs the help,or maybe someone will come across this and hopefully it will help :)
