RGH rgh and newer dashes q's

Hi guys, I wouldn't of started a new thread to ask this but for some reason I can only post in the noob section now guess post count is low.


Anyways I am a little confused as to what is going on with rgh right now. I understand that you are able to get cpu key from 14717 but what is the status on 14719? Are people still able to glitch these the same way?

I know the hack hasn't been released yet for 14717 but is there any reason I shouldn't update to 14719? I plan on using the demon on a couple consoles in the future but right now use them for online. So bascially is 14719 safe for a future glitch or not?

I read fullbanned had updated to 14719, and he's got his RGH or dual nand(one or the other) working fine after update. Don't hold it to me, might wanna check out his thread, or can I get confirmation, someone?

I am not currently rgh'd and am on 14617? Does going to 14619 hurt my chances of getting cpu key in the future with the other hack?

TBH, I wouldn't update any further til you RGH your console and get your keys. I haven't seen anything about getting keys on 14<i>7</i>19... I have a trinity on 14699, and am waiting for TX products to RGH console... I dare not update til I have my keys.

Yea I just wish someone in the know would chime in and let me know.

I heard that the latest was just a bug fix but haven't been able to find confirmation anywhere that says either yay or nay. Hopefully someone with the know will chime in sooner or later

The new dash was just a bug fix. No cb or firmware changes. So I'd say it's perfectly fine. I would first get your keys cause then you can back track. There's really no reason to update unless your using live. I have one of my consoles on the latest dash for live NAND dumps and CPU keys in hand.

Thanks for the reply. Yes these are the consoles I generally play on live. I don't have cpu keys for them because I went ahead and updated to 14717 after I heard that keys would still be retrievable with new hack. Just wanted to make sure going to 14719 wouldn't be a problem as well.

I thought currently the hack to get the keys off of 14717 wasn't available yet... I have a few other rgh's but have been using these as my live box's til the demon comes out and I can do a dual boot.

If you already updated to 14717 then the damage is done. CB has been changed and you need to wait for new hack. Since 14719 is only a bug fix and is not changing fw or CB (if updating from 14717)you might go ahead and update your console.

There isn't a released hack yet I was suggesting you get your keys while you were on the previous dash. As stated above the damage is done. Just sit back and wait it out. So no more damage will be done if you update further.

Wonderful guys thanks for the clarification. I'm just excited to get a dual boot solution going soon. So I don't have to have two consoles a piece for me and the wife.

I would suggest to keep two, when M$ does an update then your dual nand becomes an RGH for the moment until it's green to update. I like my live access, so I plan to have one stay M$ console and the other dual nand.
