Just been in touch with someone who does RGH on the xbox, I have a falcon on dashboard 2.0.16547.0 and been told that the boot times are bad and he advised not to have it done and that Team Xecuter are working on something new for this, Just wanting to know what people think and what this new product is that Team Xecuter are working on?

R-JTAG was already released for this type of console although it has been discontinued it is still available.

There was also a HUGE thread where a lot of people contributed working Falcon settings on RGH2 with Coolrunners and CR3 Lites...
Personally, Ive never had a falcon that I couldnt get to eventually boot in under 30 seconds and was rock solid... Maybe you should consult someone ELSE other than your friend who does glitching... Just saying.

If you want cheap, a 15 watt soldering iron from radio shack will work. also while you are there some other handy things to get are Flux(this is a must have for this job) 60/40 rosin core solder, and desoldering braid(For when you make a mistake, which every noob does). Also might be worth saying to practice soldering on something else, radio shack has beginner soldering kits, or some broken piece of electronics, that you can practice on.

Well if you want something more professional, and dont mind shelling out the money, then this is what you want. http://www.xconsoles.com/products/hakko-fx-888D-soldering-station.html As for the tip size, .6, or .8 will work. I have seen people solder with a butain torch, so tip size is a preference, some people like a bigger tip, some a smaller. You will have to figure that out on your own. Also if you are only doing one console, and are new to soldering, then i would suggest getting someone else to do it, as that will be cheaper in the long run.
