Other Website, for Xbox 360 modding, here is the best place to get advice. The thing is here is no one is spoon fed this stuff, there are tutorials to follow, most of them are fairly simply to follow, as long as you can solder and can read English, you should be fine.

For a slim Trinity no, but I would go for a Proto V2 instead of a Coolrunner rev C as they are easier to set up.

If cost is a problem, don't even consider doing it yourself unless you accept you may need to get your console replaced/repaired.

Still a rev c works nicely on a trinity. Proto is just little easier and better. He decides what the ease and better chip is worth him. If I were you I would follow the advice about the proto, but it's not necessary.
