Hello, i have Xbox 360 Slim E, MFR Date 2014-05-26, i think its Corona V6 4GB. I have Nand-X and JR Programmer v2. I have few qestions about it:
1. Do i need sd card reader/writer to read/write a nand ? Or can i do it just with a nand-x/jr programmer ?
2. Do i need a QSB kit?
3. Do i need to bridge R2C7 and R2C10 if resistorts are missing ?
4. Do i need solder Cpu Post Fix Adapter ? Or can i just attach it there.

Thanks for help.

1. Yes u need a sd card reader. Nandx or Jr programmer won't work with a 4gb corona.
2.Qsb are optional. So not needed.
3. Yes u need to bridge. Just r2c6 and r2c7.
4. Yes u definitely need a postfix adapter.

Before u buy anything u need to find out if it is a Winchester or corona. As a Winchester model can't be modded in any way.

With that mfr date it probably will be a corona. But best to double check.

QSB-quick solder board. It's a custom designed small board you solder to your motherboard so you can avoid direct soldering wires to it. It's not necessary, but helps with install. It has nothing to do with performance or speeding anything up.

On Corona 4g consoles I almost always get an error reading a block or 2 during both reads.

So when so you see this, just let it continue, there is a reason why we read twice, that is because if we had a crap connection for some reason, usually bad soldering, we would likely end up with a incomplete read and even if Jrunner didn't detect the bad read and just carried on reading and saving the nand to your PC, you wouldn't know and then if you assume that's good, and for whatever reason flashed it back, you'd be in some serious trouble. Reading twice is plenty, although reading 3 times would be more of a guarantee and give you a warm feeling inside that your dump is good. So anywho.. If you read the nand 2 or more times and it gets the same "error reading block xx" both times, and Jrunner tells you that the "Nands are the same", you're more than likely to go ahead and write Xell to obtain CPUKEY and proceed to decrypt and build your new image and flash back.

If you're experiencing this, as described above, then you are safe to go ahead and just continue with the next step, as the chances of getting multiple bad reads (even just 2 ) that match is practically impossible. If that happened to you, you'd be the unluckiest person in the world, lol. As long as you see it says "Nands are the same", you're more than likely fine, I chance it all the time with tons of send ins and it never goes wrong.

So go ahead and continue with the installation and move forward, you're probably fine, your xbox will be RGH'd soon.

R2c6 and r2c7 needs to be bridged if using E & F points on the mobo.
R2c10 only needs to be bridged if it's a non 4gb nand
