i edited the regkey (writekey = 1)
load jf
load lt0272 but when i right click on the grey area, no WriteKey function only write f/w, verify key, load ixtreme, clear target...what am I missing?
my orig drive is 1175 d5s and I replaced the pcb with 225 d4s. no fcrt enabled.

Use 9504 stock instead of lt0272.After write key read the fw from the drive, load it in source and in target use lt0272.

If you actually read his post, you'd see that his issue is that he hasn't created the registry string for writekey.

have you tried just loading LT+3.0 for 0272 and write it as it is, and after its succesfully written, try and right-click to get the writekey function?
EDIT: im not sure if the register is case sensitive either but try changing writekey to WriteKey.

Try "WriteKey" (upper case "W" and "K").
You will find Write Key when you right click in the target firmware area.

yup, writekey should be WriteKey. Now I can see WriteKey in jf, damn. Thanks, maybe for future use...
yup it worked now, and can read orig dvd no prob. Maybe I can use these methods for future use.does it work now then?
