I cant see anything on my laptop screen..using hdmi cable

This statement makes me think you are trying to feed HDMI out from your 360 IN to your laptop - which almost certainly won't work. There's a really small chance that you have some super laptop with a HDMI INPUT but the vast majority of HDMI ports on laptops are OUTPUTS.

You need to connect your Xbox video out (component or HDMI) to a monitor or TV.

EDIT: Also it seems I spaced out that since you're using a PostFix adapter this is a Corona board. I've yet to have a Corona board display Xell onscreen at all - you'll need to get the CPU key via IP or Comms cable.

Agreed my corona v4 would not show xell on TV. Com port worked perfectly tho.

com port you say...I do have a com port cable but it cant be connect to tx corona 4gb nand rw kit v4...So how did you connet it ?In j-runner it explains how to do it with an old dvd drive cable or something like that but I don't want to do it that way...I want to use this comm usb cable but I don't know how or where to connect it ? I do have a usb pro v2 but again im not sure how to connect it ? been trying to get cpu key for like 3 days now been reading and trying to find answers but dgx green light just keeps blinking ??

to use com port you have to make one out of an old dvd connector and us usbpro v2 or us a nand-x usb update cable

and solder to the points shown in the jrunner pics. if its not done right you will get an error in jrunner when you open up the com port it will say something like no com ports where found

I have done over 4 corona's all with 1532 drives in them and gotten xell to boot with hdmi everytime I have personally not needed comms cable. Call me lucky or just whatever have you gotten xell to boot YONDAN?????

NO I have not in days,and I really haven't asked for help because im trying to find the answers on this site I guess my next step is to try the usb comm cable..only I have the one that's already made and I don't think I can use that one on my corona v4,i think I have to make one like you said...sorry for taking so long to reply but I spent all day yesterday trying to paint my truck like I said ''trying'' to paint my truck ,came out terrible...some things should be left to the pros like painting and rgh'ing xbox 360s LOL

Okay so for now this xbox that I erased the nand on im going to put this xbox aside due to lack of experience and unable to retrieve the key ahhh I haven't given up but I did go out yesterday to buy a new xbox.i already opened it up and this brand new xbox is a corona v2 has nand on opposite side of board....and this time im NOT going to erase the nand,i will post back my progress.

So instead of getting a console to RGH which is already borked, you intend to crack open another.

Personally, not something I'd even remotely recommend. If you can't get a console to glitch, it doesn't matter whether you erased the NAND or not. You should be addressing that first.

okay ill go back to trying the first one...before I destroy this new one but I cant retrieve key because I cant install usbprov2 drivers correctly and I have been reading and really trying to learn but I cant even get drivers installed.. I don't know kind of frustrated... I will try again

okay finally got usbprov2 drivers installed correctly...had problems because bootloader mode was set to on position and pc did not detect it or something but drivers are installed now so now im trying to create this J1D1 DVD power connector to boot xell and get key..i have a question,are there three or four wires required to create this cable ? j-runner says something about a additional wire, what wire is it referring to ? is there an additional wire besides the three or just the three to use with usbprov2 ? please help

Read the RGH guides and follow them please. Then post pics and logs of what you have. I honestly don't understand the problem here since it's all documented.

This is one of the longest thread ive seen in my life. The dgx needs to be connected in order to boot to xell to get your key. The usb com cable is used in place of a/v or hdmi cable so xell will show thru a port on your computer. 2 seperate things. And the usb pro v2 is used to connect your homemade comms cable to your pc. I have not read thru your thread all the way but xell will only appear once your chip stops attempting to glitch (as in green light stops blinking).

and if you dont have pics and logs loaded yet please load them asap

@ Ally Nerd I just read through the whole post wow. It def takes longer to go through this than Martins road map for noobs and the jrunner pdf.
