Thats crazy i'm newbie to this whole rgh/jtag scene but i had no idea FSD3 could have anything to do with a game problem.
it may have had more to do with ur launch.ini setup,reboot on fatal crash or some sh*t like that.f3 was full of bugs also.

Yea atm but i remember this happened before on 2 different games just now i am only playing this 1 game.
you need to be playing many other games to be able to make sure its happening with all games or just 1 or 2 for some reason.also play from disc and from hdd.

you could run dashlaunch and try setting FatalReboot to false like gavin suggested earlier in the thread. I have never had this problem but it is a very simple thing to try, and if it doesn't help you can always change it back. You just launch dashlaunch and you will see some blades like paths, network, behavior, etc... Fatalreboot, Fatalfreeze, safereboot, and exchandler settings are in the behavior section. A green light out beside of the setting means its enabled, if you disable a setting the green light beside of it will go off. Now these maybe already enabled or not but just try it anyway, set them up like this
FATALREBOOT=OFF
FATALFREEZE=ON
SAFEREBOOT=OFF
EXCHANDLER=ON
first note what they are already set at before making these changes so you can change them back if you need to.
After making all the changes you want to hit RB on the controller (save/load launch.ini) now it will show the list of drives in you console like HDD1, INTMU, USB0, and FLASH. Just highlight hdd: (internal hdd) and hit X to save the new launch.ini to the hdd, then once you are done you can exit dashlaunch and I would restart the console and try to play some games and see what happens. If you get confused you can give THIS a read and maybe it can explain dashlaunch better than i can. or find a youtube video. I hope this works out for you but if not at least you will be familiar with dashlaunch afterwards. every jtag/RGH owner should know how to use dashlaunch...
good luck!

Ok i did some research apparently it could be a bad nand whatever that is i have heard of it before but never really understood what it was now i had my console modded by a reputable person on this site i already emailed him should i personal message him here to is it his responsibility to replace nand or mine?

you mean a bad flash. the nand is flash memory and it holds the Hacked files that make your console run unsigned code. I doubt that would be the problem but its not that hard to have a new freeboot image made and written to the console. usually you would need an spi programmer like nandx or jr-programmer and you need the jrunner software. But im pretty sure there are a few ways to do it without a spi programmer hooked up directly to the motherboard. do you even have the original nanddump.bin files that came off of the console when you had it modded? The modder should have given you a copy of it on a cd dvd disc or something.

so it is fatally crashing while loading/playing games. Exchandler=ON is probably why its going back to the dashboard now, and im guessing before you made the changes in dashlaunch I asked you to make, the setting Safereboot was ON... Right? that would be why it was soft rebooting the console. so with fatalfreeze=ON
fatalreboot=OFF
safereboot=OFF
exchandler=OFF
With the settings like this the console should freeze and Im not sure but maybe it could push through, but it's up to you to try or not. I'm thinking maybe an overheating problem with the GPU getting too warm too fast when playing games with high-end graphics, have you ever changed the thermal compound on this xbox? And also what motherboard do you have slim/phat and do you know exactly which on (falcon-opus-jasper-zypher-trinity-corona-etc..)???

yeah, its not a problem. I doubt he did anything to cause the problem, can you tell me what console it is (phat/slim)?
Also when you ask rdubbs about the nand backup, see if he remembers changing the thermal compound on the GPU/CPU.
It shows he hasn't viewed this thread yet so if you want to you can also link him to this thread and ask him to take a look at it when he gets a chance.

It could also be being caused by a trainer plugin, a unofficia kernel/dash update, an unofficial dashlaunch, a bad block, etc. I would start by using j-runner, and updserv, an re updating to 17150. make sure you build daslaunch in, as this way you can rull out unofficial updates causing the problem.
