Hi,

Title says it all really, my rgh Falcon boots within 5 seconds (usually instantly) and plays fine when network is not connected. With the network connected boot time is the same, FSD runs fine (can ftp stuff to and from it) yet games freeze very soon after starting them up.

Ideas anyone?

But the problem only exists when the network is connected, without it it never freezes. How can this be related to the wiring? My jasper's wired the exact same way (did them both myself) and it has no problems at all. Searching the board for network related falcon freezes yields no results.

Different boards yield different results. My last falcon wouldn't glitch when i had my HDD attached. But a quick re-routing with the wiring sorted it. I even had one that would only glitch when it was naked (motherboard & heatsinks only) nothing else. Again wiring problems.

I had this same problem. All i did was clear out FSD and install it over. Run XEXMENU. Delete FSD and replace it with a new one from thumb drive and add folders to scan again.

Well after installing FSD2.2 and removing the DashLAunch ftp plugin my kid played the entire afternoon without issue (network connected).

So it was either FSD or the ftp plugin..

Thanks everyone!
