RGH glitches but freezes on black screen

ok so i got my slim to glitch and boot the custom dash but after a few minutes the screen went black the light stayed solid green and just seemed to freeze i have to unplug the console to turn it off and now when i turn it on the light stays green and then freezes again??? whats the go lol

Check all your soldering. Also, try to switch the switch to phat

Usually freezing is caused by wiring inteferences. Try rerouting cpu_rst wire.

Ok I'll have a play around with the wiring could it be the orange wire? I had a little trouble getting it to solder at first or is it the blue wire as I had to cut about 6cm off it to get a decent boot time out of it

Solder to stby_clk alternate point instead if you not sure. Its easy

That you had to shortened cpu_rst wire is quite common and cannot cause freezing.

It has to be your wiring there is no other problem that can freeze it.

so i moved the wire to the alt point and it wont even try to glitch when set to slim but when set on phat it flashes the green light but no glitch gah i hate it lol back to original fw i go lol

Try shortend cpu_rst wire even further. If your soldering is fine it should glitch eventually
